I traded in my phone through Costco’s program (powered by Phobio) and got a $652 Shop Card — which you can spend on GROCERIES. Apple and Best Buy don’t let you do that.
The whole process is online: mail in your device, get it inspected, and a digital Costco Shop Card hits your inbox a couple of weeks later. When I compared prices, Costco was actually paying MORE than Apple for the same device.
